Description
A Writers Initiative designed to identify diverse writers for various staff positions on FOX series.
Support Provided
We provide enrollment in the six-week Writer’s Boot Camp program in Los Angeles where writers write a spec script under the supervision of Boot Camp instructors and have a one-on-one relationship with FOX Diversity executives. Writers are called in to FOX for initial assessment meetings, and to have their scripts read by FOX creative executives. Writers from this pool are interviewed for positions as writers and writers’ assistants on FOX network television series.

Support Provided
Fox employees serve as monthly mentors, role models, and advocates to help at-risk students with academic achievement, career planning, personal development and life skills. Mentors also help students reach their goals by acknowledging and building on students’ strengths, talent, and potential.
